Research interests: The field of research is experimental Solid State Physics. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance techniques have been applied to the investigation of microscopic static and dynamic effects in a wide variety of systems. Other experimental techniques utilized include specific heat by adiabatic calorimetry and magnetic susceptibility. The main lines of research are: Electronic structure and hyperfine interactions in metals, alloys and quasicrystals. Collective phenomena and critical effects in magnetic systems and in structural phase transitions including martensitic phase transitions and metastability in disordered alloys.Linear and non linear excitations (including solitons) in low dimensional systems and in disordered systems. Magnetic correlations and superconducting transition in high-Tc materials. Diffusion of hydrogen in metals and of ions in superionic conductors.Spin dynamics in strongly correlated electron systems. Static and dynamics local magnetic properties in molecular nanomagnets

Teaching: Fisica Sperimentale per il corso di laurea triennale in Biotecnologia. Corso di lezioni con Laboratorio. 6CFU. Libro di Testo adottato : F.Borsa e S.Altieri, Lezioni di Fisica con Laboratorio, La Gogliardica Pavese,2003
