Vittorio Bellani, Research Professor of Physics (specializing in materials science and technology), is a Beaufort Fellow at St John’s College, University of Cambridge (2025; focus: quantum materials and systems); Ad-hoc Divisional Associate Editor for Physical Review Letters (APS, since 2025) and Ad-hoc Editorial Board Member for Physical Review B and X (APS, 2017–present); Alumnus Visiting Professor at MIT’s Electrochemical Energy Laboratory (Boston, USA, since 2016; lithium batteries); Volunteer at UC Berkeley (2018; Scanning Tunneling Microscopy of graphene); Outstanding Referee for the American Physical Society (2018–present); Board Member of the Grand Solutions Committee for Green Research, Technology Development and Innovation at Innovation Fund Denmark (2024–present); Rapporteur for the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EITUM Impact Ventures, 2025–present) and for the European Commission (EACEA and REA, 2021–present).
