The NanoSci-ERA Consortium is a network of public or private bodies responsible for research programmes in nanoscience that are established in countries belonging to the European Research Area (ERA).

The LECSIN project falls within the NanoSci-E+ Transnational Call and was selected among the 24 top projects in the ranking. It is a collaboration between researchers in Catania, St Andrews, Pavia and Grenoble.
